In 2005, an old (1907) one room school house, Keddleston School was restored, new equipment purchased, and the new Breakaway Pottery was opened. The studio; with 5 wheels, slab roller, work tables, electric kilns, extruders, and pug mill was designed to enable me to share what I have had the good fortune to learn from my instructors; Noboru Kubo, Robin Hopper, Randy Brodnax, Jeff Oesterich, Steven Hill, Tom Coleman, Suze Lindsay, Matt Long, Bill Shinn, Gaye Smith, Sandra Black, Joe Brecha, Tony Clennell and my many fellow students/colleagues.
